Offer Period
The Offer Period starts at 1st of April 2025 and closes at 31st May 2025 or while stocks last, whichever occurs first.  Thereafter, no other alternative will be available in lieu of the original offer.  There are 3,500 Samples available in total.

 

Claim Restrictions 
Claims are only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over (Eligible Claimants).  

 

Claim Method 
To claim a sample, Eligible Claimants must during the Offer Period:   

  1. Submit all information required on the promotional assets or press the relevant call to action on Instagram or Facebook  

  1. Provide all details as requested including but not limited to your name, email address and postal address; and 

  1. agree to the terms and conditions of this Offer and opt-in to receive marketing communications about L’OR as well as other trusted JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS brands via the registration process. 

The Promoter will then provide the nominated sample/s to an Eligible Claimant by post to the residential address provided. 

 

Maximum Claims Permitted 

Maximum of one (1) Sample claim per household which is based on the residential address provided. Multiple claims are not permitted. 

Sample 

The Sample includes: 

L’OR Artiste - Vigoroso; or 

L’OR Artiste - Delicato 

 The Sample cannot be exchanged for a monetary amount and is not eligible for resale.  The Offer is subject to availability. You may not receive the Sample blend you have selected in the original form.   

 

Notification of Successful Claim 

The Promoter reserves the right to deem any claim submitted invalid if a claimant fails to provide the required information within the time specified. 

Delivery of Sample Pack 

The Sample will be sent to the Eligible Claimant at the residential address set out in the claim form. Please allow up to 3 weeks for the receipt of the claimant’s sample.  Delivery is to New Zealand Non-Rural addresses only.

  1. This Offer is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook or Instagram. Any information provided by an entrant is provided to the Promoter and not to Facebook or Instagram. Entrants release Facebook and Instagram from all liability in relation to this promotion.  

Standard Terms and Conditions 

 

  1. The claimant agrees and acknowledges that they have read these Conditions of Claim (and Schedule) and that claiming a Sample in the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Claim (and Schedule). Any capitalised terms used in these Conditions of Claim have the meaning given in the Schedule, unless stated otherwise. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offer. 

  1. The Promotion commences on the Start Date and ends on the End Date ("Promotional Period"). Claims are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission or deposit by the claimant. Records of the Promoter and its agencies are final and conclusive as to the time of receipt. 

  1. Valid and eligible claims will be accepted during the Promotional Period, while stocks last. 

  1. Employees (and their immediate family members) of agencies/companies directly associated with the conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter, businesses involved in determination of successful claimants for the Promotion, businesses involved in the management of the Promotion, any organisation benefiting from the Promotion, the Promoter’s distributors, suppliers, subsidiary companies/businesses and associated companies and agencies are not eligible to claim. "Immediate family member" means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin. 

  1. The value of the Samples is accurate and based upon the recommended retail value of the Samples (inclusive of GST) at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Samples after that date. 

  1. No part of a Sample is exchangeable, redeemable for cash or any other Sample or transferable, unless otherwise specified in writing by the Promoter. 

  1. Each Sample will be awarded to the person named in the claim and any claim that is made on behalf of a claimant or by a third party will be invalid. If there is a dispute as to the identity of a claimant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the claimant. 

  1. All claims will be the property of the Promoter. The information claimants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this competition. The Promoter may collect claimants' personal information (including through its contractors or agents) or disclose claimants' personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this offer. By participating in this offer, claimants consent to the storage of their personal information on the Promoter's database and the Promoter may use this information for future competition and marketing purposes regarding its products, including contacting the claimant via electronic messaging. By participating in this offer, claimants consent to receiving SMS or email messages from the Promoter. The Promoter is bound by the Privacy Act 2020. Claimants can request access to the personal information the Promoter holds about them by contacting the Promoter at the address stated in the Promoter section of these conditions. The Promoter's Privacy Policy, located at https://www.lorespresso.co.nz/privacy-policy/. This contains information about: (a) how claimants can seek access to the personal information the Promoter holds about them and seek the correction of such information; and (b) how claimants can complain about a privacy breach and how the Promoter will deal with such a complaint. 

  1. Any guarantee or warranty given is in addition to any relevant statutory guarantees and warranties and nothing in these Conditions of Claim restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. 

  1. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a Sample, subject to national regulation. 

  1. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to validate and check the authenticity of claims and claimant's details (including a claimant's identity, age and place of residence). In the event that a claimant cannot provide suitable proof as required by the Promoter to validate their claim, the claimant will forfeit the Sample in whole and no substitute will be offered. Incomplete, indecipherable, inaudible, incorrect and illegible claims, as applicable, will at the Promoter's discretion be deemed invalid and not eligible to claim a Sample. Claims containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, are not eligible to claim a Sample. The use of any automated claim software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an individual to automatically claim repeatedly is prohibited and may render all claims submitted by that individual invalid. 

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify claims in the event of non-compliance with these Conditions of Claim. In the event that there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion or claiming a Sample, the Promoter will resolve the dispute in direct consultation with the claimant. If the dispute cannot be resolved the Promoter’s decision will be final. 

  1. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence or wilful misconduct) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using any Sample (or recommendation). For the sake of clarity, this clause shall not apply where the Promoter has contributed to or caused such loss, expense, damage, personal injury or death and shall not apply to any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in each case the Promoter’s liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). 

  1. The claimants will participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable marketing and editorial activities relating to the Promotion, including (but not limited to) being recorded, photographed, filmed or interviewed and acknowledges that the Promoter may use any such marketing and editorial material without further reference or compensation to them. 

  1. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications and the claimant must seek their own independent financial advice in regards to the tax implications relating to the Sample or acceptance of the Sample. 

  1. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
